OPERATION MANUAL Postmaster - 6000
General Safety Issues
We recommend that users of this machine read the instruction(s) before use of the postmaster -6000
and its components.
This machine is manufactured using the latest technology, both electrical, mechanical and with
security in mind.
The machine must not be mishandled and the safety rules are followed, otherwise person or
machine damage occur.
The postmaster is to be used for dynamic and partially static weighing.
The supplier cannot be held responsible if the machine is used for purposes other than what it is
intended for.
Note that some of the components are supplied by third party suppliers and will have their own
manuals and instructions. If not so supplied to you during the delivery and/or installation of the MSA-
6000 please contact your Neopost supplier immediately.
Typical use
Only use the machine in a legal and safe manner.
Respect the warning signs and symbols found on the machine.
Keep in mind that long hair, jewellery and clothing can get caught in machinery.
The machine shall be used only when it is intact and working properly.
A manual inspection that all plates, conveyor belts, switches, doors and hoods shall be in their
positions and should work.
If something seems to be changed or not seems to work in usual manner, stop the machine and call
for service.
Watch the moving conveyor belts. Keep fingers and objects away.
The machine is equipped with a sensitive load cell. Beat, hits, shock or throw nothing directly on the
load cell conveyor belt.
Do not open cabinets or doors that do not have with the daily operations to do.
