OPERATION
Protective clothing
•
If possible, wear designated gloves for protection from splinters and shavings.
•
While working, wear designated protective goggles. Flying shavings can cause
injury.
•
Wear hearing protection for protection against continuous noise in the work
place.
•
Wear a designated dust mask for protection against airborne dust.
Special safety advice
•
The machine may not get wet and may not be operated in moist surroundings.
•
Connect the plug to an outlet only when the machine is turned off.
•
Do not cover up the air vent, so that the machine does not overheat.
•
Keep the handle dry and free from oil and grease.
•
Make sure that there is no water or electricity source behind the place to the
drilled.
•
Fasten work pieces, if possible, to a workbench.
•
Only set screws or nuts on the hammer drill when it is turned off.
Turning On/Off
•
Connect the power plug to a designated outlet.
•
Press and hold the On/Off button
(4)
to turn the machine on.
•
To turn the machine off, let go of the On/Off button (4).
DANGER!
Danger of injury!
If the machine is laid down before it comes to a complete standstill, parts of
the machine can become caught on the surface. This can lead to a loss of
control as well as severe injuries.
•
Lay the machine down after it has come to a complete standstill.
