7 Use

7.2 Self-levelling
function
The
Quasar 6
is self-levelling. The basic
alignment of the unit should be adjusted using the
circular bubble (see chapter 7.1).
The unit switch on the
Quasar 6
(see figure
below) releases compensator lock and switches
on the self-levelling function. The horizontal beam
(H), vertical beam (V1) and plumb beam (L) are
switched on.
If the unit is placed in a slanted position of up to
3,5° in any direction, the laser beams are plumb
and horizontal.
If the range of 3,5° is exceeded, a periodic bleep
is emitted and all laser beams apart from the
plumb beam (L) are flashing.

Never look into the laser beam!
Never direct the laser beam at people or animals!
Switch on the
Quasar 6
When you switch on the
Quasar 6
at the unit switch, the horizontal beam (H), the vertical beam
(V1) and the plumb beam (L) are automatically switched on, and the pulse function is deactivated.
Use the
"Horizontal"
button to switch the horizontal beam on / off
(see chapter 4.2).
Use the
"Vertical"
button to consecutively switch on the vertical beams or to switch them all off
together (see chapter 4.2).
The plumb beam cannot be individually switched off.
7.4 Working
with
the
receiver
If working outdoors or in bright ambient light, a receiver should be used and the pulse function
activated at the
Quasar 6
.
