1 Preface

spare parts and accessories. Contact the nearest au-
thorized distributor or Nederman for advice on tech-
nical service and obtaining spare parts. If there are
any damaged or missing parts when the product is de-
livered, notify the carrier and the local Nederman rep-
resentative immediately.
2 Description
2.1 Intended use
The Nederman Extension Arm for extraction arms is
designed to be used when extra reach is needed. The
Extension Arm is manufactured from robust steel pro-
files. The Extension Arm can be connected direct to a
single fan or to a ducted system.

wall bracket with the inner arm section on the
wall. Check that the wall bracket is vertical. This
should be done by holding a spirit level against the
side and front of the axle. H = the recommended
height above the floor. See
F1 = tensile strain/screw
F2 / F3 = shearing strain/screw

Lift the outer arm section into place. Position the
friction washers (a) and ball bearings (b). Slide the
pivot axle (c) in place.

Adjust the arm. Tighten the joints (d,e) suffi-
ciently to prevent play. The inner joint (d) should
be stiffer than the outer joint (e).
