Chapter 2

Installation

The installation of the SL1100 Desktop Applications includes prerequisite software, if 
the installation determines these do not already exist on the PC.

The following prerequisite software is installed:

Microsoft .NET Framework

Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable

After the prerequisite software is installed, the NECDesktop.msi installs. This 
installation includes the following applications:

SL1100 Desktop Application

Microsoft Outlook Add-In

The Desktop Applications are installed in the following directory:

C:\Program Files\NEC\NEC SL Desktop Suite

Application logs are in the following directory:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\SL1100 Application 
Suite\PC Phone\Log Files

After installation is complete, the following application environment is available,  
depending on what installation options where chosen:

Program group named “NEC”

Within NEC group are the following:

NEC SL Desktop Suite

NEC SL Desktop Suite Configuration

A shortcut for Desktop Applications installs on the Windows desktop.
