IMPORTANT:
Keep the removed connector cover carefully.
When you do not use a SFP(+) module in a SFP+ port, attach a connector
cover to a SFP+ port.
Dust goes into the inside of a SFP+ port, and becomes a SFP (+) module
and a cause of the loose connection of a SFP+ port.
NOTE:
The 10Gb Pass-Through Card works with the Blade Enclosure. It
does not have a POWER switch.

Name Description
1. Dust cover
A dust-proof cover. Keep any vacant LC connector covered when you do not use it
or when you transport it.Keep all covers for future use. (N8406-037)
2. LC connector
Connects the LC connector pins of an optical fiber cable. (N8406-037)
3. Lever Pulled down to remove the SFP(+) module from the 10Gb Pass-Through Card.
4. SFP(+) connector Connected to the SFP port of the 10Gb Pass-Through Card.
5. RJ-45 connector
Connects the RJ-45 connector pins of a twisted pair cable. (N8406-039)
Avoid direct look into the laser beam.
The N8406-024,-037 SFP(+) Module is classified as a Class 1 Laser Product.
A class 1 laser will not be harmful to the human body. However, do not look directly into the
SFP(+) module port during operation. Keep any vacant LC connector covered with a dust cover
(rubber cap) when you do not use it or when you transport it.
