3. Disk Array Controller Features
The disk array controller is equipped with eight ports of interface connectors conforming to Serial-ATA II
(expanded SATA 1.0). The data transfer rate per port is up to 3000 MB/sec. The card realizes low cost and
high performance.
The card can be connected to an additional battery to operate in the WriteBack mode, which can improve the
access performance further. In addition, the card can be connected to an additional HDD cage to provide the
hot-swap feature.

Notice
The card does not support the PCI hot plug feature.
Ports 5 to 8 are not available.
The hot swap feature is available only when the card is connected with the additional HDD
cage or the server that supports hot swap feature.
