Playing a MIDI Song File
To load and play a MIDI song file, use the following
procedure.
1.
Select Open from the Files menu and locate your MIDI
files in the directory.
2.
Select the file by double clicking on the file name.
The file loads into MIDI Orchestrator and the sliders
automatically adjust to the correct volume for each
channel.
3.
Click on the Play button to play the song.
As the song plays, the MIDI Density Meters indicate the
activity on each channel and the Song Position slide
advances from left to right to indicate your position in
the song file.
Editing a MIDI Song File
To edit a MIDI song file, use the following procedure.
1.
Load the song file that you want to edit.
2.
Move the Song Position slide left or right to any position
within the song with your mouse.
3.
Use the Status area at the bottom of the screen to verify
your song position. Playback begins at that point.
