Connecting an RS-232C cable
Connecting a SCSI Device
NOTE
Before connecting a SCSI device to the
system, be sure the SCSI device is set up correctly,
including the SCSI ID. Follow the setup instructions
that come with the option.
Connect an external SCSI device to the back of the system
unit as follows.
1.
Turn off power to the system unit and the SCSI device.
2.
Connect one end of the SCSI cable to the SCSI port on
the rear of the system unit.
3.
Secure the cable with the screws provided.
4.
Connect the other end to the SCSI device.
