3-8 Option Installation

Expansion Board Removal

Remove the system unit cover as previously described.

Label and remove any cables connected to the board.

NOTE:

To remove a board from an inside slot

in the desktop, see Inside Slot Expansion Board
Removal.

Remove the screw that secures the board to the support bracket (see Figure
Section 3-6

Figure Section 3-6 Removing the Screw

Pull the board out of the connector. Gently rock the board from side-to-side to
release it from its connector.

Replace the system unit cover.
