External Connectors
External connectors let you attach peripheral devices, such as a monitor,
keyboard, mouse, and printer to your system. Your system has the
following external connectors.
Mouse port
Attach the mouse that comes with your computer to this port. The
mouse port supports a PS/2-compatible mouse.
Keyboard port
Attach the PS/2
®
-compatible keyboard that comes with your computer
to the keyboard port.
VGA monitor connector
The system comes with an accelerated graphics port (AGP) integrated
on the system board and ported to the external video graphics array
(VGA) connector on the board. The VGA connector supports an NEC
MultiSync
®
monitor, NEC VistaScan™ monitor, or other
VGA-compatible monitor with a 15-pin connector. Attach your
monitor’s signal cable to the VGA connector.
