General
In order to achieve simultaneous transmission of TV broadcast signals of optimum
quality, preventive maintenance services must be performed regularly to assure satisfactory
operation of the PCN-1800N series TV Transmitter.
Major troubles will be caused, at times, from minor, incipient malfunctions that are liable
to be carelessly over looked.
Recommend that a systematic preventive maintenance schedule be set up at your plant to
assure uninterrupted TV broadcasting service.
(1) Don’t remove more than two PAs, during in operation.
(2) When pulling a PA out of the rack, be sure to;
(a) disconnect input cable of the PA and put it away not to
be damaged during the replacement work,
(b) turn off the AC breaker of the PA located behind Operation panel,
(c) close the PA valves located behind the PA at rear side of the rack.
(3) In case that a PA is stored to the storage or is shipped back to the repair center, be sure
to remove coolant completely from the PA by using FOOT PUMP attached as a part of
accessories.
(4) When making piping maintenance work, be sure to drain beforehand coolant in the
part of piping subjected to the maintenance work. During the maintenance work,
coolant remaining the piping may spill out of the piping. Therefore prepare a waste
cloth for wiping off the spilled coolant.
