4. Maintenance
4.1. Notice
The following SAS controller message is displayed in POST.
Adapter configuration may have changed, Reconfiguration is suggested!
Æ
When two or more sets of this product are installed on the server, the message above
may be displayed in the POST, but there is no operational problem.
ID indication of HDD or SSD connected to this product is not correct.
Æ
The cable connection between this product and the backplane of the server may be
incorrect. Please refer to the user's guide of the server and check whether the cable is
connected correctly.
LED light of HDD or SSD connected to this product does not flash on and off correctly.
Æ
The SGPIO connector and the cable of the server may not be connected correctly. Please
refer to the user's guide of the server and check whether the SGPIO connector and the
cable be connected correctly.
4.2. Troubleshooting
If your operating system or applications do not operate correctly after installing this product, please
check the following items.
Is this product correctly mounted on the device?
Is the driver for the SAS controller installed? Is the product installed in the server correctly?
Are all SAS cables and power cords connected correctly?
If the server does not work correctly even when all the above items are confirmed,
shut down the server, disconnect the product, reboot the server, and perform the
self-diagnostic program POST. If POST ends normally, this product may be
defective. Please contact your retailer or service center for repair.
