with phosphor so as to achieve the white light. As such, LEd backlighting
offers the possibility of optimally exploiting the advantages of both LEd and
LCd technologies. Since many small LEds can be distributed over the total
surface of the monitor, this ensures higher quality illumination. Overall, image
reproduction is made more true to life and also enjoys a higher contrast. NEC
is going to use this technology for the MultiSync
®
EA series in the near future.
Numerous Connections
An analogue and a digital dVi-d connector with HdCP guarantee the MultiSync
®
EA series displays a high degree of flexibility and security of investment.
integrated uSB Hub
in addition to the analogue/digital ports, the EA series models (exception:
EA191M) have also been equipped with an integrated uSB hub ver. 2.0
(4 down/1 up). At the same time, uSB-enabled peripheral devices, memory
sticks or a uSB mouse can also be connected to the display.
display Port
The innovative NEC Multisync
®
EA
series now features the new display
Port technology that offers an in-
creased degree of future-proofing
and investment security. The display
Port allows the simple Plug & Play
transfer of image and audio signals
from PCs and dVd players etc.
over a licence-free connection to
the display. use of the display Port allows a higher bandwidth so that higher
resolutions can be achieved as well as visibly increased colour quality. The
plug connector is smaller than a d-Sub or a dVi connector, and has been fitted
with a cover clip that engages when it‘s plugged in so as to ensure a stable
connection. Cable lengths of up to 15 m can be easily attached to the display Port.
First Multisync
®
EA series models with display Port technology will be launched
in August 2009.
Windows Vista Certification
The NEC Multisync
®
EA series desktop displays have been Windows
