External Trigger
To set an external trigger, connect the IE-789306-NS-EM1’s check pins EXTOUT and EXTIN as shown below.

(1) EXTOUT
The EXTOUT pin on the IE-789306-NS-EM1 outputs a low level for 1.3
µ
s when a break event occurs.
Caution
Connect a pull-up resistor on the target system because this is an open drain output.
(2) EXTIN
An event signal can be input from the EXTIN pin on the IE-789306-NS-EM1. Input a high-level pulse signal for 2
CPU operation clocks or more.
