Removing a PDU from a Cabinet
C A U T I O N
!
If you are removing both PDUs that provide power to the
same components, turn off the system components.
1. Remove the system from service. Use one of the following procedures:
•
Click
Start
and select
Shut Down.
•
Press the power button once, if you have enabled
Allow system to be
shutdown without having to logon
enabled. See the
Express5800/320Ma:
System Administrator’s Guide
.
2. Remove the power cables from the PDU.
3. Remove the four screws with one hand while supporting the PDU with the other
hand.
4. Slide the PDU out of the cabinet and place the PDU in a safe place.
