9-4 Upgrading Your Server
PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION AND REMOVAL
Follow the procedure below to prepare for installing or removing components.
To install or remove the components, you need to take the server out from the rack, and put the
server on the rigid and flat desk.
IMPORTANT:
Be sure to remove the server from the rack. Do not leave the server
being pulled out from the rack.
Do not touch the riser card when holding the chassis after removing
the top cover.
When removing the power cord from the server, you may
experience a 3 - 4 second delay from the time your system powering
down.
