Table 4.2-2 ESMPRO/ServerManager Feature
Feature
Description
Failure Management
Displays failures detected by ServerAgent in the Alert Viewer.
Performance Management
Displays CPU / Memory / Disk / LAN usage of a server in a graph
format. ServerAgent always monitors a server and it will report to
ServerManager if any usages go over the predefined threshold.
Configuration Management
Displays hardware components (CPU, Memory, Disk, LAN, etc) and
OS / application information and current status.
4.2.3.1 Installing Report table
The report table for the CMM Blade and the InfiniBand switch has to be installed in the management
PC in order for ESMPRO/ServerManager to receive alerts from the CMM Blade and the InfiniBand
switch. The report table for the CMM Blade is included in EXPRESSBUILDER, and the report table for
the InfiniBand switch is included in InfiniBand Builder.
4.2.4 InfiniBand Management software and others
For InfiniBand management software, see the User’s Guide (InfiniBand) included in InfiniBand Builder.
For other management software (ex. Fibre Channel storage management software), see the
documents for those related products.
