NOTE
If you select the Enabled option, you’ll see
additional options that allow you to specify the Base
I/O address and IRQs for the port you're
configuring.
Mode (Serial Port B)
If installed, this option sets the mode for “Serial Port B”
to “Normal.”
Parallel Port
This option configures the system’s parallel port.
Choose “Auto” (default), “Enabled” or “Disabled.” The
“Auto” setting causes the Setup program to assign
LPT 1 378h, IRQ7.

Mode (Parallel Port)
This option sets the mode for the parallel port. The
options include “Output Only” (AT-compatible mode),
“Bidirectional” (PS/2-compatible mode), “EPP”
(Extended Parallel Port – high speed bidirectional) and
“ECP” (Enhanced Capabilities Port – high speed
bidirectional).
