1 General description
The SensorMATe 3 is a universal radio transmitter that can be used to transmit
specific alarm events to the Possum Telecare range of receivers such as the
Infopager 2G or Neo Carephone units. The unit can be interfaced directly to two
separate sensor mats using the RJ12 and RJ10/RJ22 input sockets located on the
top of the device. Configuration of the required sensors, any associated alarm delays
and the date and time is achieved using an intuitive menu structure displayed on the
Liquid Crystal Display (LCD). Adjustment of these parameters is carried out using the
four navigation buttons on the membrane keypad.
The unit is powered by two alkaline AA batteries. The replacement of these items is
easily achieved without the need of any hand tools.
The unit has an integrated real time clock allowing for the time scheduling of any
alarms to be raised to be easily configured.
The unit is capable of being directly interfaced to the following sensor solutions
available from Possum Telecare:

Bed Occupancy Solutions (including the Paper thin bed occupancy solutions)
•
Carpet Sensors
•
Enuresis Sensors
•
Any sensor mat or device terminated in a RJ12 or RJ10/22 plug configured with
“Normally Closed” or “Normally Open” volt free contacts. Monitoring occurs
between the outer pins (1 & 4) or the inner pins (2 & 3) of the RJ10/22
connector or pins 2 & 5 or 3 & 4 of a RJ12 Socket.
