United States Federal Communications Commission (FCC) symbol indicates EMC compliance per FCC
standards.
The UL recognized component mark represents safety approval by Underwriter’s Laboratories for
Canada and the United States.
The Canadian Standards Association (CSA) certification mark represents safety approval by Canadian
Standards Association for Canada and the United States.
Technischer Überwachungsverein (TUV) symbol represents safety approval by TÜV Rheinland AG for
Canada and the United States.
Conformité Européene (CE) mark of conformity certifies that the product is in compliance with EU health,
safety, and environmental requirements.
EurAsian Conformity (EAC) mark represents safety approval by Custom Union countries: Belarus, Russia,
Kazakhstan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan.
China Compulsory Certificate (CCC) mark for Information Technology Equipment (ITE) products.
China Quality Certification (CQC) mark for uncategorized products.
China Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) green ”e” symbol indicates that the electrical and
electronic product (EEP) does not contain restricted substances in amounts over maximum
concentration values (MCV), and is an environmentally safe product that can be recycled.
China RoHS orange “number” symbol indicates that the EEP contains restricted substances. The symbol
number refers in years to the Environmental Protection Use Period (EPUP), during which the product can
be safely used, and following which should be immediately recycled.
Japan Telecom Engineering Center (TELEC) mark for wireless conformity certification.
The product packaging has been tested to be in compliance with International Safe Transit Association
(ISTA) standards.
The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) symbol indicates a product that should be
recycled or disposed of in compliance with local governing ordinances and recycling plans.
Electrical symbol for “Closed (On) Switch”, is located on the closed side of the device rocker switch.
Electrical symbol for “Open (Off ) Switch”, it appears on the open side of the device rocker switch.
Electrical symbol for “Equipotentiality” (Potential Equalization Terminal) identifies the Potential
Equalization Conductor (ground post) of an electronic device.
