You can enter this Additional Bar Code Options
parameter in only one way. The firmware accepts the
option change and then returns to the base
programming state. Enter the Parameter as follows.

In the Base Programming State, scan the Hex 1 tag
followed by the Hex 9 tag to enter the Additional
Bar Code Options Programming mode.

Scan the Hex 0 tag if you do not want to send the
UPC Number System Character. Scan the Hex 1 tag
to send the UPC Number System Character.
End of this procedure - program returns to Base
Programming state (long then short beep).
