Image Search is a NavDesk application powered by Flickr™ allowing you to download
photos that contain embedded GPS coordinates. You can then upload the photo to the
Flickr website, transfer photos to your Navman, or export pictures to Google Earth.
How do I search for a photo with embedded GPS coordinates on the
Internet?
1. In the Description field enter a search description for the image you are looking for.
2. Select one of the Sort by options.
3. Click
Search
. Thumbnails of the photos with embedded GPS coordinates will be
displayed in the display area.
Note:
You can narrow your search by selecting the
Advanced search
checkbox and then selecting
a city from the drop-down list or by entering the latitude and longitude details.
How do I import a photo with embedded GPS coordinates to My
Places?
1. Select a picture or group of pictures you want to add to your My Places.
2. Do one of the following to add the selected image to My Places:
• Click the
Add to My Places
button.
• Right-click on the selected picture and then select
Add to My Places
.
