Lanyard Setup
To use the lanyard setup:
1.
Attach the lanyard to the two
(2) rings on the back of the
pouch.
2.
Place the lanyard around the
patient’s neck or shoulder, or
hang it on the bedside post.
Connecting the SpO
2
Sensor
Depending on the type of study, your healthcare provider may connect an
SpO
2
sensor to the Trex HD unit.
Attach either the Reusable or Single Use SpO
2
sensor to a clean, dry finger.
Reusable
Single Use
It is recommended to put the oximeter cable
through the patient’s sleeve to
minimize movement of the cable.
