Making Signal Connections
This section recommends how to connect signals to the SCXI-1530/1531.
With the SCXI-1530/1531 modules, you can make precise acceleration
measurements using current-excited accelerometers, such as ICP
accelerometers. The floating (non-referenced) current sources provide
excitation for the accelerometers. The SCXI-1530/1531 modules allow you
to perform all the following operations:
•
Configure each input to be single-ended or differential to
accommodate both non-referenced or ground-referenced transducers.
•
Independently program the AC-coupled amplifiers to different gains to
extend the range of usability for a given accelerometer.
•
Configure the lowpass filter of each channel to one of four bandwidths
to reject signals outside of the desired frequency range.
•
Simultaneously sample and hold all four or eight channels to preserve
phase information.
