Installing and Configuring
the SCXI-1530/1531
About the SCXI-1530/1531
The SCXI-1530/1531 modules are four- and eight-channel Integrated
Circuit Piezoelectric (ICP
®
) accelerometer conditioning modules with
programmable current, gain, and filter settings on each channel. The
SCXI-1530/1531 also has simultaneous sample-and-hold circuitry.
Each channel has programmable gain settings of 1, 10, or 100, and
programmable four-pole Bessel filter settings of 2.5, 5, 10, or 20 kHz.
Each channel also has a programmable floating 4 mA, 24 V compliant
current source.
The SCXI-1530/1531 provides four or eight BNC connectors to interface
with accelerometers. This module supports both multiplexed and parallel
output modes.

with the SCXI-1530/1531, including the latest version of NI-DAQ. After
installing the software, install any DAQ devices and the SCXI-1530/1531
hardware, and then configure and test the SCXI-1530/1531 to ensure that
the installation is complete.
Installing the Software
You can control the SCXI-1530/1531 in an application development
environment (ADE) using the NI-DAQ device driver software. The
supported ADEs include LabVIEW, BridgeVIEW, LabWindows/CVI,
Visual Basic (ComponentWorks), C, and C++ environments. You can also
use the SCXI-1530/1531 in conjunction with VirtualBench and Measure.
