Recommended System Components
The recommended system requirements include the following items:
•
Pentium III/Celeron 600 MHz or equivalent processor
•
256 MB RAM
•
A screen resolution of 1024 × 768
•
Windows 2000/XP or later
•
The minimum PXI switch module requirements
•
The minimum SCXI switch module requirements
•
One of the following application development environments (ADEs):
–
LabVIEW 7.
x
or later
–
LabWindows
™
/CVI
™
7.
x
or later
–
Microsoft Visual C++ (MSVC) 6.0 or later
2. Unpacking
The switch module is shipped in an antistatic package to prevent
electrostatic damage (ESD) that can damage several components
in the module.
Caution
Never
touch the exposed pins of connectors.
To avoid such damage when you handle the module, take the following
precautions:
•
Ground yourself using a grounding strap or by touching a grounded
object.
•
Touch the antistatic package to a metal part of the chassis before you
remove the module from the package.
