Connecting to the Isolated Outputs Power Supply

If you use a power supply other than the NI desktop power supply, follow 
the instructions in this section to connect power to the NI 8254R.

Note

If you are not using the NI desktop power supply, you can optionally use 0.75 mm

18 AWG ferrules according to the manufacturer specifications to terminate the wires 
leading to the 2-position power connector, shown in Figure 7. Ferrules are available from 
Phoenix Contact (part number 3200519).
