Before initial use
1.1
Intended Purpose
The 283NE is a Full-color, 7-inch TFT Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) desktop digital weather station combined with a
digital photo frame to enjoy the most colorful display of both forecast and photos.
The 283NE measures the environment of its surrounding area and receives weather data transmitted from up to five
outdoor sensors for temperature and humidity.
It has a built-in digital alarm clock, which is radio-controlled by the ultra-precise Atomic Clock.
The photo frame has an internal memory of 128MB plus an SD/MMC/MS/USB slot.
1.2
Important
The weather should only be viewed as guidance values. It doesn’t present an absolutely precise forecast. The
manufacturer does not take on responsibility for incorrect displays, recordings or weather forecasts and the
consequences which may result from it.
The outdoor sensor transmits its data via radio signals at 433MHz bandwidth (range of the outdoor sensor up to 30m
in free field) to the weatherstation.
