6.3 Additional parameters
There are additional parameters like the EMG index, the BSR and the STI available,
see table below.
Only for IntelliBridge:
To view the additional parameters in the IntelliBridge device data window, either
•
select the setup key on the EC10-module, or
•
select the External Devices SmartKey and then select the pop-up key with the
device name on it, or
•
direct tap on the EEG curve and select in the appearing window “External
Devices”, then tap on „Show Device Data“.

Description
EMG index EMG
EMG
EMG index (EMG = electromyogram) is a measure of the
intensity of the electrical muscular activity. The EMG
index is shown on a scale of 0 (no muscle activity) to 100
(very strong muscle activity).
BSR
BSR
LT BSR
RT BSR
The BSR (burst suppression ratio) is the percentage of
suppression lines in the EEG. The value refers to the last
60 s and is issued as a value between 0 (no suppression
lines) and 100 (continuous suppression line).
STI*
STI
STI
STI = Sharp Transient Intensity
The STI detection shows on a scale of 0 to 100 the
frequency and the intensity of sharp potentials within the
last minute.
