5. Montage der Gehäuselüfter
Im Deep Silence 5 Rev. B sind drei 140 mm Gehäuselüfter bereits vorinstalliert. Sie können die
Lüfterbestückung auf bis zu 6 Stück erweitern.
Wenn Sie weitere Lüfter verbauen möchten, empfehlen wir die Verwendung der separat im
Handel erhältlichen Nanoxia Deep Silence Lüfter. Diese entsprechen technisch und optisch den
werksseitig montierten Gehäuselüftern und harmonieren perfekt mit den integrierten Lüfter-
steuerungen Ihres Towers.
Sie können zusätzliche Lüfter selbstverständlich an die Lüftersteuerung (
siehe Kapitel 6
)
anschließen.
Alle Luftansaugöffnungen des Deep Silence 5 Rev. B sind mit leicht zu reinigenden Staubfiltern
versehen. Wir empfehlen Ihnen, diese regelmäßig zu säubern.
5.1 Lüfter in der Gehäusefront
Um die Lüfter in der Front zu tauschen oder die Staubfilter zu reinigen, öffnen Sie zuerst die
untere Fronttür. Öffnen Sie dann die „Easy Access Panel“ durch leichten Druck auf die linke
Seite des Rahmens (

).
Den Lüfter entnehmen Sie, indem Sie beide Haltenasen etwas vom Lüfter wegdrücken und den
Lüfter herausziehen (

).
Die Staubfilter lassen sich einfach herausziehen (
Abb 5C
).
Bitte beachten Sie, dass die Filtereinsätze für eine einwandfreie Funktion der „Easy Access
Panel“ vollständig eingeschoben sein müssen.

II. Installation Instructions
1. Installation of the motherboard
You can mount E-ATX, XL-ATX, ATX, M-ATX and Mini-ITX motherboards in the Deep Silence 5
Rev. B. In order to ensure an easy installation of your motherboard, we suggest the following
procedure:
Please consult the following charts to find your motherboard form factor. Attach the stand-offs
according to your motherboard form factor.
E-ATX
XL-ATX, ATX
Micro-ATX
Mini-ITX
Attach the included EPS extension cable on to your motherboard – do not connect it to the
power supply yet.
Next you should mount the CPU cooler - for very large CPU coolers, the attachment of the EPS
extension cable after installation can be difficult.
In the next step place the motherboard
gently inside the case and lead the EPS
extension cable through the opening
provided in the top left of the mainboard
tray. Fix the motherboard to the mother-
board tray.
After the installation of the power supply,
you can connect the EPS extension cable to
the EPS-connector on the PSU at the back of
the motherboard-tray
