Open the programming software

to choose the CTCSS
QT/ DCS DQT for the current channel or close

If some channel has set the CTCSS/DCS signal, it
can open the squelch only when using the same
CTCSS or DCS signals. In the same way
，
it can
receive your signal only when the QT/DQT signal
mode is the same to yours. If people use different
QT/DQT but the same channel to call you, the
squelch cannot be open, only the green light to
indicate.
