V-BUS8 TROUBLESHOOTING
Central Unit restarting periodically (a short circuit protection occured)
1) +/- polarity should be wrong or a short circuit occured in wires.
Audio noises too high or talking is not starting.
1) A1,A2 lines would be disconencted/broken.
2) A1,A2 lines would be conected in wrong way
3) A short circuit possible between A1,A2 lines and GND.
4) A1,A2 lines would be connected to V1/V2 or D1/D2 lines (this is the reason for
audio noises)
5) GND (-) of any of devices which connected system would not connected.
Monitor-Panel syncronisation error (Monitor LEDs turned ON or panel gives “please
wait” message)
1) D1,D2 lines would be disconnected or shortcircuited.
2) Wrong connection possible for data lines.
3) If installation is made by “junction box” connections and only one monitor makes
synchronisation problem please check related connection area. This trouble may
happen with junction box conenctions. When system installed by monitor-to-
monitor connection, then you have to focus on complete network which starts
from failed point.
Poor video quality, brations on images or no video signal
1) Video quality mostly depends on cable structure. Suggested cable must be a
twisted pair (CAT-6)
2) 75ohm termination switched sould be ON position for all monitors (excepted
slave monitors)
3) Video lines would be wrong connected.
4) If you used video distributors, make sure that all flats (junction boxes) must
contain at least one video distributor. Please refer detailed connection applications.
5) Check video termination resistances. All video lines (V1,V2) with column lines
must be terminated with these resistances.
Audio and video noises occured when outdoor panel calls a flat:
1) Voltage drops would be occured. Minimum voltage level must be around 15VDC
for panel calls. You should be careful for cable cross-sections or power supplies
in installations.
