Work Principle for Series Hot Standby
Connect the bypass input of UPS 1 to the output of UPS 2, it constitutes series hot standby working
mode.
If UPS 1 faults, it will switch to bypass mode automatically. At this moment, the output of UPS 2
sustains the load which is still in UPS inverting protection status, so as to ensure the safe operation of
device. If UPS 1 stays in bypass mode and UPS 2 faults, then the mains will sustain the load.
