IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
• Read these instructions carefully before using this equipment and keep them for future
reference.
• We strongly recommend you to use the screen with a surge protection device between the main
socket and the monitor.
• Unplug the monitor immediately if you notice any abnormality (e.g. noise, smoke or smell).
• Stop using the monitor if it is damaged.
• Always keep the monitor away from moisture.
• Never operate the monitor during an electrical storm or lighting.
• Always keep the monitor well ventilated. Do not block the ventilation grooves or vents and keep
the screen at least 10cm away from the wall.
• Do not insert any metal objects (such as wire or a metal tool) or flammable objects (such as
paper and matches) into the vent or any port.
• Do not disconnect the power cord from the mains socket while using the monitor.
• Do not bend the cord and plug excessively or place heavy objects on them, which could cause
damage.
• Disconnect the power if you are not going to use the monitor for a long period of time to
prevent potential damage from electric shock or voltage spikes.
• Do not install your monitor in a location with high levels of dust or humidity, or high or low
temperatures, or exposed to chemical substances.
• Keep all plastic packaging materials out of children’s reach.
• Unplug the monitor before cleaning it with a slightly damp cloth. Always grip the plug and never
pull on the cord when unplugging.
• Ensure the monitor is positioned on a flat stable surface, where it will not fall.
• Never remove the rear cover. This monitor contains high-voltage parts. You may be seriously
injured if you touch them.
• Never touch the plug with wet hands.
• The appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.
• Do not use alcohol or ammonia-based liquids on this monitor.
• Young children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
• We recommend you do not use the monitor in a dark room or in front of a bright background.
For best visual comfort, we suggest you take a 10 minute rest every hour if you use the monitor
for a long time to avoid eye fatigue from continuously watching the screen.
• Do not try to repair the monitor yourself as it contains no user-serviceable parts. The monitor
should only be repaired by a qualified technician.
To prevent possible hearing damage, do not listen at high volume levels for long
periods.
