EMC Guidance

MyndStep needs special precautions regarding EMC and needs to be installed and put into service

according to the EMC information provided. This device has been thoroughly tested and inspected to

assure proper performance and operation.

⚫

Keep MyndStep away from active HF surgical equipment, and the RF shielded room of a medical

device for magnetic resonance imaging, where the intensity of EM disturbances is high.

⚫

Do not place

MyndStep adjacent to or stacked with other equipment, or it could result in improper

operation. If such use is necessary, all the devices should be observed to verify that they are

operating normally.

⚫

Portable RF communications equipment (including peripherals such as antenna cables and

external antennas) other than the smart phone to be used with MyndStep should be used no closer

than 30 cm (12 inches) to any part of MyndStep, including cables specified by the manufacturer.

Otherwise, degradation of the performance of this equipment could result.
