4.4.3 Knife Sharpening Rules

A total of 1/4" (6.4mm) of material may be re-
moved due to grinding. Beyond this, the ma-
chine will not cut fully through a book.

4.5 Check Pressure Switch

The main air pressure switch should be
checked for proper operation each month. The
main air pressure switch is used to verify that
main air is connected and switched on. If this
switch fails, damage to the machine could re-
sult.

1. Switch on power, open lower back door.

2. Switch off main air valve.

3. Close the door.

4. Go to the console and read the LCD

display. The message, "No air pres-
sure," should be displayed.

5. Switch on main air valve.

6. Go to the console and read the LCD

display. The message, "No air pres-
sure," should not be displayed.
