1. Get a towel and put it inside the cupboard. This will help to absorb water in case

there's spillage or leaks while working.

2. Turn off the cold water supply via the angle stop valve under the sink or at the water

metre out the front of the property.

3. Disconnect the braided flexible hose from the water source using a spanner by

turning counter-clockwise.

4. Clean and remove any remaining thread tape from the male thread end of the water

supply connection.

5. Wrap some thread tape around the male thread of the connector, then screw on the

provided t-piece connector by turning clockwise via the swivel female end. Use a

spanner to tighten. Make sure that the push-in hose end is facing the location where the

under sink water filter unit will be mounted. Apply thread tape to the male end connector

of the t-piece then screw on the braided flexible hose via the swivel end female
