3.5.
Installation Procedure
The Passive CCTV Power Integrator Hub features BNC
connectors on the video portion of the device, thereby
allowing it to be connected directly to the DVR or IP
camera encoder via coaxial cable. In order to install the
product in this configuration, please follow the steps
below:
1.
Install the Passive CCTV Power Integrator Hub in its
final location. Please verify that the cable lengths
between the hub and cameras are within MuxLab
specifications.
2.
Ensure that the Passive CCTV Power Integrator Hub
is properly grounded in accordance with local safety
codes. On the rear panel a grounding terminal is
provided. Refer to the instructive figures below.
Power up the unit.
Crimp the terminal on the tip
of green cable gage 18 or
better
Fit the terminal on the screw
between tooth-washers
Fit this assembly to the space
provided on the back of the
unit
Permanently mount second tip of the green cable to the grounding post and check presence of
continuity between the grounding post and enclosure of the unit.
