Assembling the media-feed
table and the media support bar
(both optional)

Assembling the media-feed
table and the media support bar
1. Use hexagon socket head cap screws (4 pieces) to
fix the reinforcement between the legs (right and
left).
Follow the instructions below to assemble the
media-feed table and the media support bar.
This product does not need a ‘rail (fixed)’ that comes
as a part of the media-feed table.
Firmly insert the protruding portions of the legs to
the holes of the Frame to fix it.
2. Place the Frame on the legs and fix it with four
hexagon socket head cap screws.
3. Insert the media support bar inside the frame.
Place the side of the media support bar with the
rail fixing screw onto the rail that has a rail fixing
screw.
Insert the media support bar into the frame
diagonally.
Place the convex sections of the legs (right and left)
along the notch of the reinforcement to assemble.

3.3 Detaching fastening materials
This printer has fastening materials in the place shown
below.
1. Remove all tapes from each cover.
2. Open the front cover and remove all protection
materials fixed with tape.
3. Remove the tape, and move the media holder plates
to the left and the right edge.
4.
Open the right Maintenance cover, and remove all
the packing materials that are fixed with tape.

8. Attach the light-shielding cover to the waste fluid
tank.
Insert the light-shielding cover inside the waste
fluid tank holder.

7. Check that the two-way valve of the drain tube is
closed. Hook the two-way valve on the clamp,
then close the clamp cover.

8. Close the front cover.
9. Open the left maintenance cover, then place the
tray.

5. Remove a screw from the head unit fastening
material (metal plate) and remove the material.
6. Raise Front media loading lever.

Fully slide the slide locks of all pressurizing
rollers toward the front of the printer.
