3.2.2 Setting roll media
Notes
There are two optional winding systems available for the ValueJet 1604W
o
Unwinder/Winder 100
o
Motorized winding system with tensioning (T winder)
Please refer to the User Guide of the chosen system to know how to correctly load media
Refer to the pricing sheet for more details of these systems.
If you do not use one of the above winding systems. You have to use the scroller supplied with the
printer.
Be sure to read and understand the safety warnings before handling the printer.
Step 1 :
Switch ON the printer.
The printer starts the initializing operation.
The operation panel displays “Media End”.
Notes
Do not operation the media loading lever during the initial operation. The print head portion may
touch the pressure rollers and cause a malfunction.
Step 2 :
Raise the media loading lever.
