 WC / SC /VIDEO OUT

These interfaces transmit either Word Clock, Super Clock or PAL/NTSC
Black + Burst signals. For each pair of outputs located one above the other,
you can select the transmitted signal by means of an internal slide switch.
The output impedances are 75

 Ω

 (BNC connectors).

2

 S/PDIF OPT OUT

This interface transmits a digital optical S/PDIF blank-frame signal, in compli-
ance with the specifications of IEC 60958 (Toshiba Toslink™ connectors, EIAJ
standard).

3

 S/PDIF COAX OUT

This interface transmits an unbalanced electrical S/PDIF blank-frame signal,
in compliance with the specifications of IEC 60958 (cinch connectors). The
output impedance is 75

.

4

 AES/EBU SYNC OUT

This interface transmits a balanced electrical AES/EBU blank-frame signal, in
compliance with the specifications of
AES3-1992 (R1997). The output impedance is 110

 (XLR connector, male).

5

 230V (115V)

This compartment houses the mains fuses, which must be inserted in
accordance with the local voltage used for operating the unit! See also the
safety instructions, in particular, the chapter OPERATION, and the section
»Replacing the Mains Fuse« in the appendix.

6

 POWER switch

Mains power switch. Be sure to connect the unit properly to the mains by
using the enclosed power cord and select the country-specific mains voltage
by inserting a mains fuse of the correct type and rating before you attempt
to operate the unit. Please read the safety instructions.

7

 Mains connector

Use this receptacle to connect the enclosed power cord. Be sure to set the
POWER switch to OFF and insert a mains fuse of the correct type and rating
before you connect the power cord to the unit and/or wall outlet.

For detailed specifications on all terminals,
refer to the PIN ASSIGNMENT OF THE
CONNECTORS and TECHNICAL DATA sections
in the appendix.
