Cable Test
- To use the cable test function you must also have the Murideo SIX-G as a
source. The HDMI Cable test is powerful tool for pre-installation testing of desired cables
and extenders. The SIX-A tests cables up to 18 GBPS and does complete bit error rate
testing on cable under test or link between HDMI extenders - HDBaseT or HDIP.
What are the 4K formats supported by HDMI 2.0?
The SIX-A tests for and identifies the highest possible bandwidth the cable or link is capable of
passing, giving you 100% confidence that the system you install works. The chart above from
HDMI.org shows formats supported by HDMI 2.0. The chart below shows limitations of
extending over CAT with HDBaseT. Systems Integrators should keep this information in mind
when designing and retrofitting systems.
