The EDID function on the SIX-A is used to read, write, copy, store and manipulate
EDIDs to gain a clear picture of what exactly is happening with regards to all sinks,
sources and repeaters in the system. Most of these functions are available on the
SIX-A itself. The PC program allows you to store/retrieve EDID files on your hard
drive and write EDIDs to the SIX-A.

Open File
– This will allow you to access previously saved EDIDs. The EDID files are
by default saved in the directory where you installed the PC software. The file you
are looking for is a .bin file. You can rename these files to match the display
model number you are dealing with.

Save to File
– This will save the EDID that is display on screen to the directory
where you installed the SIX-A PC software:
Once the file is saved you can rename it to match the display and model number.
New firmware will be released soon to allow naming from the PC Software and
SIX-A.

Write to USER EDID
– This writes the EDID displayed on screen to the USER EDID
(1-10) on the SIX-A.

Use EDID Selection to select USER EDID to write to device (1-10)
