4. Place the engine ON/OFF switch in the
ON position
(Figure 11).

5. Place the ON/OFF switch located on the
left strap to
the
ON position (Figure 12).

Place the throttle lever (Figure 13) in the
UP position
(
TURTLE) to start the engine in IDLE mode.

7. Slowly pull the starter grip (Figure 14) until resistance
is felt, then pull briskly and smoothly to start the engine.
Gently return the starter grip to its original position.
