Appendix II: How to connect this instrument
The
ML-DSO
has 2 connection ports: USB (for configuring Ethernet IP) and fast Ethernet.
USB Cable Connection
The USB port is only used to configure the IP address of the device, not to perform measurements
in real application mode.

Connection through an Ethernet cable
Connect an Ethernet crossover cable between the ML-DSO and the PC or instead a standard
Ethernet cable between the ML-DSO and a router or switch. The device can be pinged to verify
that a connection has been established.
