Checking emission values
Note:
Open the exhaust gas measuring line and
install the measuring instrument only when
the engine is at standstill.
1.
Apply exhaust gas sensor (1) to measuring
point (2).
2.
Start engine.
3.
Approach measuring point until a stable
operating state has been reached.
4.
Carry out measurement and read off meas-
ured value for NO
x rel
(ppm).
5.
Compare measured value with limit value
(tolerance = − 10 %), adjust exhaust gas
emissions in case of deviation.
