8.12.2 Air filter – Removal and installation
Preconditions
☑ Engine is stopped and starting disabled.

Air filter
1. Loosen clamp (2).
2. Remove air filter (1) and clamp (2) from con-
necting flange of housing (3).
3. Verify that there are no objects in the flange
of the intake housing (3) and clean it.
4. Attach air filter (1) with clamp (2) onto intake
housing (3).
5. Tighten clamp (2).
Air filter with intake silencer
1. Loosen clamp (2).
2. Remove air filter (1) and clamp (2) from in-
take silencer (3).
3. Clean intake silencer (3) and check for ob-
structions.
4. Attach air filter (1) with clamp (2) onto intake
silencer (1).
5. Tighten clamp (2) to specified tightening torque.
