2.4 Upgrading System Memory
Upgrading System Memory, And Setting JP1.
The R547 mainboard can use up to two-168pin DIMM sockets(DIM 1, DIM 2),
and four-72pin SIMM sockets (SIM 1, SIM 2, SIM 3, SIM 4). Upgradable from
2MB to 384MB.
* The DIMM Sockets and SIMM Sockets can not used at a same time, except
when you used the +5V EDO or FP DIMM Module.
2.4.1 Installing a SIMM Module

Insert the SIMM into the
socket at an angle.
Press it forward onto the
positioning pins.
The retaining clips should fit
over the edge and hold the
SIMM in place.
