Advanced BIOS Features

Hard Disk Boot Priority

This setting determines the boot priority of the installed hard disks.

Virus Warning

The item is to set the Virus Warning feature for IDE Hard Disk boot sector
protection. If the function is enabled and any attempt to write data into this
area is made, BIOS will display a warning message on screen and beep. Set-
ting options:

BIOS Flash Write Control

This function protects the BIOS from accidental corruption by unauthorized
users or computer viruses. When disabled, the BIOS' data cannot be changed
when attempting to update the BIOS with a Flash utility. To successfully
update the BIOS, you'll need to enable this BIOS Flash Write Control function.
